Arcane
Primary Spells

* Arcane Barrage - Launches bolts of arcane energy at the enemy target, causing 899.45 to 1099.33 Arcane damage. / 12% of base mana, 40 yd range, Instant cast, 5 sec cooldown
* Arcane Specialization - Increases the damage of your Arcane spells by 25%.
* Mana Adept - Increases all spell damage done by up to 12%, based on the amount of mana the Mage has unspent. Each point of Mastery increases damage done by up to an additional 1.5%.


Skills

* Mage Ward *New* - Absorbs [ 81% of Spell Power + 1950 ] Fire, Frost or Arcane damage. Lasts 30 sec. / 16% of base mana, Instant cast, 30 sec cooldown
* Arcane Blast now costs 8% of base mana, up from 7%. Range increased to 40 yards, up from 30 yards. Now increases damage of Arcane Blast by 20% for each charge, up from 15%. Now deals 1579.53 to 1835.67 damage, up from 1185 to 1377 damage.
* Ritual of Refreshment now costs 27% of base mana, down from 80% of base mana.
* Spellsteal now has a 40 yards range, up from 30 yards.
* Polymorph now has a 35 yards range, up from 30 yards. Casting time increased from 1.5 sec to 2 sec.
* Mage Armor now causes you to regenerate 3% of your maximum mana every 5 sec. In addition, the duration of all harmful Magic effects used against you is reduced by 50%.
* Amplify Magic has been removed from the tree.
* Dampen Magic has been removed from the tree.
* Counterspell now has a 40 yards range, up from 30 yards.
* Blink now costs 12% of base mana, down from 21% of base mana.
* Evocation now gives 15% of your mana instantly and another 45% of your total mana over 6 sec. (Up from 60% of your total mana over 8 sec)
* Mana Shield now has a 12 sec cooldown.
* Arcane Explosion now costs 18% of base mana, down from 22%. Now causes 227.97 to 246.97 Arcane damage, down from 538 to 582.
* Slow Fall now has a 40 yards range, up from 30 yards.
* Arcane Missiles now procs from different spells depending on your spec. Launches ( Improved Arcane Missiles : three / four / five ) waves of Arcane Missiles at the enemy over 2.25 sec, causing 305.44 Arcane damage per wave. Each offensive spell you cast has a 40% chance to activate Arcane Missiles.
* Arcane Brilliance now Infuses all party and raid members with brilliance, increasing their maximum mana by 600 and spell power by 6% for 1 hr.


Talents Changes

* Netherwind Presence is now a Tier 1 talent, down from Tier 10. Increases spell haste by 1/2/3%, down from 2/4/6%.
* Slow is now a Tier 5 talent, down from Tier 9. Now has a 35 yards range, up from 30 yards.
* Missile Barrage is now a Tier 3 and 2 Ranks talent, down from Tier 9 and 5 Ranks. Revamped - Your Arcane Missiles spell will fire its missiles every 0.5/0.6 sec.
* Arcane Flows is now a Tier 3 talent, down from Tier 8. Now reduces cooldowns by 12/25%, down from 15/30%.
* Arcane Power now makes spell cost 10% more mana to cast, down from 20%.
* Incanter's Absorption is now a Tier 4 and 2 Ranks talent, down from Tier 7 and 3 Ranks. Now increases your spell damage by 10/20% (Up from 5/10/15%) when Mana Shield or Mage Ward absorbs damage. In addition, when your Mana Shield is destroyed, all enemies within 6 yards are knocked back 12 yards.
* Prismatic Cloak is now a Tier 3 talent, down from Tier 6.
* Arcane Potency is now a Tier 5 talent, down from Tier 6. Now increases the critical strike chance of your next two damaging spells
* Improved Blink now increases your speed by 35/70% for 3 sec after casting the Blink spell.
* Presence of Mind is now a Tier 3 talent, down from Tier 5.
* Improved Counterspell is now a Tier 1 talent, down from Tier 4.
* Torment the Weak is now a Tier 2 talent, down from Tier 4. Now only affects Arcane Spells. Your Arcane damage spells deal 2/4/6% more damage to snared or slowed targets.
* Focus Magic is now a Tier 6 talent, up from Tier 3.
* Arcane Concentration is now a Tier 1 and 3 Ranks talent, down from Tier 2 and 5 Ranks. Now has a 3/6/10% chance to proc, up from 2/4/6/8/10%.


New Talents

* Improved Mana Gem - Mana gained from your Mana Gem also increases your spell power by 1/2% of your maximum mana for 10 seconds.
* Improved Polymorph - When a target you've polymorphed is damaged, that target is stunned for 1.5/3 sec. This effect cannot occur more often than once every 10 sec.
* Nether Vortex - Gives your Arcane Blast spell a 50/100% chance to apply the Slow spell to any target it damages if no target is currently affected by Slow.
* Arcane Tactics - Increases the damage of all party and raid members within 100 yards by 3%.
* Improved Arcane Explosion - Reduces the global cooldown of your Arcane Explosion spell by 0.25/0.5 sec and reduces the threat generated by 40/80%.
* Invocation - You gain a 5/10% damage bonus for 8 sec after successfully interrupting a spell.
* Improved Arcane Missiles - Increases the number of missiles fired by your Arcane Missiles spell by 1/2.


Removed Talents

* Arcane Barrage is now a primary spell of the Arcane tree.
* Spell Power has been removed from the tree.
* Mind Mastery has been removed from the tree.
* Arcane Empowerment has been removed from the tree.
* Arcane Instability has been removed from the tree.
* Arcane Mind has been removed from the tree.
* Arcane Shielding has been removed from the tree.
* Arcane Meditation has been removed from the tree.
* Magic Attunement has been removed from the tree.
* Spell Impact has been removed from the tree.
* Student of the Mind has been removed from the tree.
* Arcane Fortitude has been removed from the tree.
* Magic Absorption has been removed from the tree.
* Arcane Subtlety has been removed from the tree.
* Arcane Focus has been removed from the tree.
* Arcane Stability


Fire
Primary Spells

* Pyroblast! - Hurls an immense fiery boulder that causes 1164.34 to 1478.88 Fire damage and an additional 788.77 Fire damage over 12 sec. / 40 yd range, Instant
* Fire Specialization - Increases the damage of your Fire spells by 25%.
* Flashburn - Increases the damage done by all your periodic fire damage effects by 20%. Each point of Mastery increases periodic damage done by an additional 2.5%.


Skills

* Frostfire Bolt no longer causes additional damage over 9 sec. Casting time reduced to 2.5 sec, down from 3 sec. Now costs 16% of base mana, up from 14% of base mana. Now deals 700 to 893 damage, up from 722 to 838.
* Molten Armor now increases your critical strike chance by 3%. (Old - Increased crit rating by 35%)
* Scorch now has a 40 yards range, up from 30 yards. Now deals 631.13 to 748.38 Fire damage, up from 376 to 444 damage.
* Flamestrike now costs 30% of base mana, down from 35% of base mana. Now deals 499.39 to 611.6 Fire damage and an additional 345.72 Fire damage, down from 873 to 1067 Fire damage and an additional 780 Fire damage.
* Fire Blast now has a 30 yards range, up from 20 yards.
* Fireball now has a 40 yards range, up from 35 yards. Now costs 16% of base mana, up from 8% of base mana. Cast time reduced from 2.5 sec, down from 3 sec. Now deals 804.7 to 1026.25 Fire damage, down from 888 to 1132 Fire damage.


Talents Changes

* Living Bomb now has a 40 yards range, up from 35 yards. Now has a 3 targets limit. No longer explodes on dispell.
* Firestarter is now a Tier 4 and 1 Rank talent, down from Tier 9 and 2 Ranks. Revamped - Your Molten Armor allows you to cast the Scorch spell while moving instead of reducing the chance you are critically hit.
* Improved Scorch is now a Tier 4 and 2 Ranks talent, up from Tier 3 and 3 Ranks. Now Reduces the mana cost of your Scorch spell by 50/100%.
* Dragon's Breath is now a Tier 5 talent, down from Tier 9.
* Hot Streak is now a Tier 3 and 1 Rank talent, down from Tier 9 and 3 Ranks. Your spells no longer trigger Arcane Missiles. Instead, your critical strikes with Fireball, Frostfire Bolt, Scorch, Pyroblast, or Fire Blast have a chance to cause your next Pyroblast spell cast within 15 sec to be instant cast and cost no mana.
* Improved Hot Streak is a "new" Tier 4 and 2 Ranks talent. Any time you score 2 non-periodic critical strikes in a row with your Fireball, Frostfire Bolt, Scorch, Pyroblast, or Fire Blast spells, you have a 50/100% chance to trigger your Hot Streak effect.
* Pyromaniac is now a Tier 6 and 2 Ranks talent, down from Tier 7 and 3 Ranks. Revamped - Increases spell haste by 5/10% if 3 or more targets are taking Fire damage over time from your spells.
* Combustion has been revamped - Instantly deals 854.55 to 1013.32 Fire damage and creates a new periodic fire effect on the target, lasting 10 sec and dealing the same damage per time as all your existing periodic fire effects. / 40 yd range, Instant, 2 min cooldown
* Molten Fury is now a Tier 5 talent, down from Tier 7. Now increases damage by 4/8%, down from 6/12%.
* Blazing Speed is now a Tier 2 talent, down from Tier 6.
* Fire Power is now a Tier 2 and 3 Ranks talent, down from Tier 6 and 5 Ranks. Now increases Fire spells damage by 1/2/3%, down from 2/4/6/8/10%. Also gives your Flame Orb a 33/66/100% chance to explode at the end of its duration.
* Critical Mass is now a Tier 6 talent, up from Tier 5. Revamped - Your Living Bomb and Flame Orb spells deal 5/10/15% more damage, and your Pyroblast and Scorch spells have a 33/66/100% chance to cause your target to be vulnerable to spell damage, increasing spell critical strike chance against that target by 5% and lasts 30 sec.
* Blast Wave now has a 40 yards range. Cooldown reduced from 30 to 15 sec. A wave of flame radiates outward from the target location, damaging all enemies caught within the blast for 761.84 to 897.94 Fire damage and are slowed by 70% for 3 sec.
* Molten Shields is now a 1 Rank talent, down from 2 Ranks. Reduces the global cooldown of your Mage Ward spell by 1 sec and your Mage Ward triggers the Blazing Speed effect when it dissipates from absorbing damage.
* Master of Elements is now a Tier 1 and 2 Ranks talent, down from Tier 4 and 3 Ranks. Your spell criticals will refund 15/30% of their base mana cost. (Up from 10/20/30%)
* Impact is now a Tier 2 and 2 Ranks talent, down from Tier 3 and 3 Ranks. Reworked - Gives your damaging spells a 5/10% (Up from 4/7/10%) chance to reset the cooldown on Fire Blast and to cause the next Fire Blast you cast to stun the target for 2 sec and spread any Fire damage over time effects to nearby enemy targets within 12 yards.
* Burning Soul is now a Tier 1 and 3 Ranks talent, down from Tier 3 and 2 Ranks. Reduces the casting time lost from taking damaging attacks by 23/46/70%.
* Ignite is now a 3 Ranks talent, down from 5 Ranks. Causes the target to burn for an additional 13/26/40%, up from 8/16/24/32/40%.
* Improved Fire Blast reworked - Increases the critical strike chance of your Fire Blast spell by 4/8% and increases its range by 5/10 yards.


New Talents

* Improved Flamestrike - Reduces the casting time of your Flamestrike spell by 50/100% and gives you a 50/100% chance that your Blast Wave spell will also automatically Flamestrike the same location if two or more targets are affected by the Blast Wave.
* Cauterize - You have a 50/100% chance that an attack which would otherwise kill you will instead bring you to 40% of your maximum health. However, you will burn for 12% of your maximum health every 1.5 sec for the next 6 sec. This effect cannot occur more than once per minute.


Removed Talents

* Burnout has been removed from the tree.
* Hot Streak
* Fiery Payback has been removed from the tree.
* Empowered Fire has been removed from the tree.
* Playing with Fire has been removed from the tree.
* Flame Throwing has been removed from the tree.
* Burning Determination has been removed from the tree.
* World in Flames has been removed from the tree.
* Incineration has been removed from the tree.
* Improved Fireball has been removed from the tree.



Frost
Primary Spells

* Summon Water Elemental - Summon a Water Elemental to fight for the caster. / 16% of base mana, Instant cast, 3 min cooldown
* Frost Specialization - Increases the damage of your Frost spells by 25%.
* Frostburn - All your spells deal 20% increased damage against Frozen targets. Each point of Mastery increases damage by an additional 2.5%.


Skills

* Ice Lance now has a 35 yards range, up from 30 yards. Now deals 318 to 406 damage, up from 221 to 255 damage. Damage doubled against frozen targets. (Old - Tripled)
* Ice Armor is now named Frost Armor and now increases armor from items by 20%.
* Cone of Cold now slows targets by 60% for 8 sec, up from 50%.
* Blizzard now has a 35 yards range, up from 30 yards. Deals 2141 damage over 8 sec, down from 3408 damage.
* Frostbolt casting time increased from 1.5 to 2 sec. Range increased from 30 yards to 35 yards. Now costs 13% of base mana, up from 6% of base mana. Now slows movement speed by 40% for 9 sec, up from 5 sec.


Talents Changes

* Deep Freeze is now a Tier 7 talent, down from Tier 11. now deals damage to targets that are permanently immune to stuns. Range increased from 30 yards to 35 yards.
* Brain Freeze is now a Tier 4 talent, down from Tier 9. Now causes your spell to no longer trigger Arcane Missiles. Also, when Frostfire Bolt is instant, it can benefit from Fingers of Frost. Brain Freeze cannot be triggered by Frostfire Bolt.
* Enduring Winter now reduces the mana cost of all spells by 3/6/10%. Replenishment effect now grants 1% mana over 10 sec. Down from 1% mana per 5 sec for 15 sec.
* Fingers of Frost is now a Tier 3 talent, down from Tier 8. Now has a 10/20/30% chance to proc, up from 7/15%. Now causes your next Ice Lance or Deep Freeze to act as if the target were frozen. Can accumulate up to 2 charges, lasts 15 sec.
* Shattered Barrier is now a Tier 5 talent, down from Tier 7. Now lasts 6 sec, down from 8 sec.
* Cold Snap is now a Tier 4 talent, down from Tier 5.
* Improved Cone of Cold is now a Tier 2 and 2 Ranks talent, down from Tier 5 and 3 Ranks. No longer increases the damage of Cone of Cold. Your Cone of Cold also freezes targets for 2/4 sec.
* Shatter is now a Tier 1 and 2 Ranks talent, down from Tier 4 and 3 Ranks. Now Multiplies the critical strike chance of all your spells against frozen targets by 2/3.
* Piercing Ice is now a Tier 1 talent, down from Tier 3. Increases critical strike chance of your spells by 1/2/3%. (Old - Increased damage of Frost spells by 2/4/6%)
* Improved Blizzard is now a 2 Ranks talent, down from 2 Ranks. Renamed to Ice Shards. Now also increases the range of your Ice Lance spell by 5 yards.
* Ice Floes is now a Tier 2 talent, up from Tier 1. Now also affects Cold Snap and Ice Barrier.
* Permafrost no longer increases the duration of your Chill effects. Now reduces the target's healing received by 25%, up from 20%. In addition, whenever you deal spell damage, your Water Elemental is healed for 5/10/15% of the amount dealt.


New Talents

* Frostfire Orb - Converts your Flame Orb into a Frostfire Orb, causing your Frostfire Orb to benefit from your Frost Specialization. In addition, reduces the speed of targets slowed by your Frostfire Bolt's chill effect by an additional 10/20%.
* Reactive Barrier - Gives the caster a 50/100% chance for the Ice Barrier spell to automatically cast with no mana cost upon taking damage that lowers the caster's life below 50%. This effect obeys Ice Barrier's cooldown, and will trigger the cooldown when activated.
* Improved Freeze - Gives your Water Elemental's Freeze spell a 33/66/100% chance to grant 2 charges of Fingers of Frost.
* Piercing Chill - Your Frostbolt criticals apply the chill effect to 1/2 additional nearby targets.
* Early Frost - Reduces the cast time of your Frostbolt spell by 0.35/0.7 secs. This effect becomes inactive for 15 sec after use.


Removed Talents

* Chilled to the Bone has been removed from the tree.
* Summon Water Elemental is now a primary spell of the Frost tree.
* Empowered Frostbolt has been removed from the tree.
* Arctic Winds has been removed from the tree.
* Cold as Ice has been removed from the tree.
* Winter's Chill has been removed from the tree.
* Frozen Core has been removed from the tree.
* Arctic Reach has been removed from the tree.
* Frost Channeling has been removed from the tree.
* Ice Shards is gone. (The non 4.0.1 version)
* Precision has been removed from the tree.
* Frostbite has been removed from the tree.
* Improved Frostbolt has been removed from the tree.

Frost as the lowest dps mage spec gets gimped. They add talents that add effects that are removed by the core glyphs a frost mage uses.
