Without Monday, we wouldn't appreciate Friday.
Friday - I was in work until 5, then headed to pick Dad up from Dialysis.
Saturday - After m'Lady left for work, I packed the bike into the car and drove a few miles to a Rails-to-Trails bike trail. Looked for 3 geocaches, found one, enjoyed the rain even if it was soupy-humid. After I got home, showered and cleaned. And cleaned. And cleaned. I gave almost the whole house the cleaning I have only been half-assing for months. Only things I didn't do were vacuum the living/dining rooms (since we don't use them) and sweep the basement (it would have been too dusty; I need to dig the shop vac out of the garage.)
After, m'Lady came home, we had a small dinner, and she left to go to dinner with a friend who was having a real rough time, then went up to north Jersey to spend Sunday with her best friend.
Sunday - slept in til 8 (me rebel), finished cleaning, and did a lot of putzing around. It was too humid to be enjoyable so I only left the house to make a couple "we need X" stops. Didn't even go geocaching. Well I kind of did, I left with that as a side idea, but as soon as I got the mental goal to stop for one I figured "meh" and just went past. Fiddled on Hellgate for a little bit (maybe an hour), watched the first three episodes of Stargate Atlantis out of boredom, and watched the 6-7 thunderstorms roll in after 7pm.
