Friday - since Friday was rather shitty for both of us, after I dropped dad off after Dialysis I met m'Lady for sushi dinner. Then we walked Walmart for some needed things (like Fathers Day cards) and headed home, then finished Big Bang season 4. (Shame we have to wait until September for season 5 on DVD.)

Saturday - got up, fiddled on D3 for a while, got my witch doctor to 10 or so and my wizard to 27? I think. Then when my stomach finally calmed down from the night prior's dinner I was going to mow the lawn, found out I didn't have any more gas, so instead spent 4 hours in the garage cleaning and putting things semi-away.

Sunday - got up early to start my contribution to Fathers Day dinner. Discovered I needed some ingredients, ran out to the store, came back, cooked. Ended up making kielbasa, italian sausage, and bratwursts in sauerkraut, in the slow cooker. Ran out for gas, mowed the lawn, showered, went over my parents for festivities.
For 6 people, we had 5 kinds of hot dogs (44 or 48 total, beef, pork, turkey, long, and lite), 2 racks of ribs, burgers, macaroni salad, pasta salad, baked beans, and my sausage and kraut. We had to use 4 tv trays to hold it all. Almost as much food as Thanksgiving.
Afterwards we did quick FD cake, then I went over m'Lady's parents' house to fix their wifi and have cake (again.)

I have season 5 of BBT on order and have since the pre-order went up on Amazon. After the season ended I grabbed them and we've watched them already though. It is a good show worth supporting.

We went to the Distant Worlds show on Friday in Dallas. The symphony hall there seems smaller but I liked it better. The orchestra seemed a bit better as well. I got to hear a couple of pieces I hadn't heard live before. There were some I wish they had done that they didn't, but there is only so much time they have to squeeze stuff in. There was also a marriage proposal thrown in there that was pretty awesome. On the costume front, there was a really well done Fran from FF12, A "new look" Terra from FF6 remakes, an amusing moogle, a Tonberry, a soso Squall, and a pair of minor characters from FF8.

On the D3 front, we finished off nightmare Act 4. The "not cow level" on nightmare was a bit brutal in spots. Hell is hellish right now.

Oh, the joys of internal audit....how I've missed you. I am so glad I'll get to deal with you all week long.........
