really started looking at this MMO... not a normal point and click combat style. Apparently your distance, angle of shot, whether or not something is in front of you all matters... any thoughts?

as far as Diablo III goes... guess I need to try and log on to Battlenet and see if my account still works etc...

I played the D3 beta. It is classic Diablo with UI elements from WoW. Mandy and I both get it via the annual pass so I'll be playing it and Mandy will play or not play as she wants. Real ID stuff works, although you register a nickname on battle.net now shows (I'm Dale although my ID is Dale#1998). Most of you already have my RealID though which also carries through.

Portal 1 & 2 are on sale on Steam for $8.50 (for both total) or something like $2 for 1 and $6-7 for 2. It is a blast if you haven't already done it.

I have so many games to play right now it's not funny.

I only got about ten hours into Star Ocean: Last Hope (X360) when Xenoblade: Chronicles came out (Wii), which I'm about 15 hours into and quite enjoying.

I shouldn't buy D3 but, well, it's D3. I just don't know when I'd play it.

I was the same with D3... I don't know when I'll play it... but I'll own it tomorrow...

Started Tera... the active battle system puts a lot of fun back in to the MMO. You have to aim (ie put a cross hair over a target) in order to have your spell, arrow etc hit the target... same goes true for healing party members. There isn't a "lock on" per say but there is sort of... Its a lot of fun. There are chain moves that you can do. For instance on my archer, start attacking, when the mob gets to melee range, use a skill that hits twice and stuns mob, that event starts the chain, little icon pops up and notifies you to hit the space bar to do second move (in this case, its a shoot and jump back move), then the next event in the chain occurs after the jump back which is a charge up penetrating shot move.

This is a similar system to what Guild Wars 2 will have. I have already pre-ordered Guild Wars 2 as well. That comes out next month I believe.
